Wat de verkoper zegt over dit embleem:

This is a beautiful U.S. World War II Ike Jacket to a Sergeant First Class in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment who fought in Europe during the Second World War. The jacket has a gorgeous German made 2nd Cavalry Regiment patch sewn to the left shoulder which is made in the BeVo weave. There are 4 overseas bars sewn to the bottom of the left sleeve which are also theater made BeVo. The Sergeant First Class chevrons are silver thread embroidered on black twill. There is a nice clutch back, "Sterling" marked Combat Infantry Badge pinned above the left breast pocket. Below this is a pin back, 2-place ribbon bar for the Purple Heart Medal and the Europen Theater of Operations Medal with 3 bronze campaign stars. There appears to have been 4 campaign stars on the ribbon at one time but one is now missing. There is a "Sterling" marked Marksman's medal pinned on the left pocket flap. This medal has a "Sterling" marked "Rifle" bar suspended below it. Pinned above the right breast pocket is a clutch back Presidential Unit Citation ribbon. On each epaulet is a pin back 2nd Cavalry Regiment DI that is "Meyer, NY" marked. The lapel discs are clutch back with the"U.S." on the right and a crossed saber disc on the left. This is a beautiful looking jacket that is labeled as a size "36R". There is no moth damage or anyother type of damage to this jacket whatsoever. You would have to look long and hard to find a better example of a jacket to this scarce unit.

Ik heb het ff opgezocht. Het is idd een 2e Armored Cavalry Regiment embleem. Aangezien het embleem een duitse aanmaak is, zal het rond half 45 of iets later gemaakt zijn. Het jasje ziet er goed uit, er is denk ik niet mee gerommeld. IK vind het wel wat hebben. gewoon bieden dus!!

Google ook ff op 2nd ACR. Dan vindt je ook div info.

dat zijn dus de kentekens van het 2nd Armored Cavalry regiment das correct jah

al vind ik de stropdas bijster donker voor een NCO die droegen namelijk dezelfde als de EM dus de licht OD3
en de DUI's werden ook zoals bij de Class A gedragen op de revers

De stropdas zit er niet bij, de veiling gaat alleen om de Ike.

De jas kan uiteraard wo 2 zijn. De patch is het in ieder geval niet. Hij zegt het zelf al BeVo wave betekend dat de patch na Wo2 in toen bezet Duitsland is geproduceerd.
