Böse Menschen haben keine Lieder. Voorheen bekend als "Destruction" op dit forum.
This one resembles the genuine Daimon 2233, but still has some disturbing differences.
May someone confirm the model and estimated production place and time?
I am much oblidged for your help Dima!
I've seen a statement saying that flashlights with black leather straps were issued to SS as a rule, to match the color of the uniform. Do you think this is true?
With asking my last question, I just wanted to improve my understanding of why some models were produced with black leather elements, and other with brown/natural - was that just a natural result from the different tanning processes used and the available leather stock supply, or there was some other special reason...
And since you have been kind to answer all my questions so far, I am going to ask you my next one.
Could you tell me anything about this piece?
Seems to be quite rare - up to now I could only find a single Internet post showing other photos of it.
I think for everyone the most striking thing with this one would be the form of the lens.
Obviously at some point they have made this stand-out design, and later have given up producing it at all. I wonder what its application field is - for military or civil use?
It has been a while since my last post. Just wanted to show you a near mint last flashlight I got (a Crone) which made be happy. Had another one which had engraved a soldiers name (SLT = Second Liutenant) Bader. Simply love the Crone, for me Zeiler and Crone are somehow the top quality of german flashlights and design in WW2.
Also my modest flashlight collection ... had more but sold some in time.
